Lyon Legal & Conveyancing Services is looking for a Graduate Solicitor to work in our
busy, exciting and growing law firm located in Inverell (Northern NSW).
The role may variably involve working in the following areas of law:
Criminal Law;
Family Law;

Your duties will include legal research, drafting legal documents and correspondence, filing
court documents, managing files, performing general administrative duties, and assisting
our senior solicitors as required.

Be able to manage end-to-end carriage of family law and criminal matters;
Be able to work unsupervised;
Conduct client interviews, taking instructions from clients and briefing barristers when
required;
Strong communication skills;
Tailor legal advice to individual clients;
Have strong negotiation skills;
Be client-focused and committed to success;
Be able to manage competing priorities and deadlines;
Maintain detailed client records;
